Free Tools and Tips is a new site of everyday utilities and short guides. You can convert a clock, place a three-city meeting, count down from now, count days, change a unit, pick a line from a list, build a password, resize a frame, or write a color two ways.

Each tool keeps its math in the browser. Last time zones, a meeting trio, a countdown target, and named picker lists can stay in this browser so the next visit opens on the same work. The password generator still builds a string with crypto.getRandomValues and does not remember it after you leave.

The guides sit next to those jobs. They explain how to read a daylight-saving result, how to place one instant on three clocks, how days are subtracted, how a countdown uses this device’s clock, which gallon this site uses, how to keep a list fair, how length enters an entropy count, how a locked ratio is computed, and how hex and RGB name the same channels.

US English is the language of the pages. Dates are written month/day/year, with ISO YYYY-MM-DD in the picker labels. Units start on inch, pound, Fahrenheit, and the US gallon. Metric is a labeled switch on the converter.

There is no account and no tracker on these pages. If a browser cannot read IANA time zones, the time-zone tool says so instead of guessing a fixed offset.
